Washington state still plans to sue grocery association The Washington state attorney's general office is moving ahead with a lawsuit accusing Grocery Manufacturers Association of trying to hide its political contributors even after the group recently named them in order to avoid ending up in court. GMA has spent more than $7.2 million to defeat a Washington state ballot initiative that would require labels on foods containing genetically modified organisms.
